YAGA OG is the strain that established YAGA Farms as one of the most competitive hemp cultivators in the country. This is our flagship, proprietary genetic — a true legacy cultivar developed through over five years of intentional crossing, pheno hunting, and refinement. The result is a 1-of-1 cannabis flower that cannot be duplicated or found anywhere else.

YAGA OG is harvested once per year, by design. When it sells out, it stays sold out. In fact, this strain has been unavailable for over a year — not due to manufactured scarcity, but because it consistently becomes the fastest-selling flower on our menu every time it returns.

When people ask about the lineage, the honest answer is: it’s complex. YAGA OG comes from a layered breeding process using multiple in-house YAGA cultivars, selectively crossed and re-crossed until a singular phenotype emerged. Rather than chasing extremes, this cultivar was selected for something far rarer — balance.

Why It’s an OG — and Still a Hybrid

YAGA OG carries its name intentionally, but its expression is more refined than a traditional, heavy OG. While this cultivar was crossed with our own OG Kush selections, the goal was never to overwhelm the plant with gas. Instead, the focus was to preserve OG character while refining the overall experience.

On the nose, YAGA OG presents a lighter, cleaner OG aroma. The OG signature is still unmistakable, but polished and nuanced rather than sharp or overpowering — an OG scent that reveals itself with depth instead of volume.

Where the OG influence truly shows up is in the experience. The foundational OG genetics bring through the classic indica-forward qualities OGs are known for — grounding, steady, and calming — while the hybrid structure keeps the flower composed, versatile, and never one-dimensional.
