For Corey Henry, YAGA Farms is the realization of the American Dream.
Born in Jamaica, where cannabis has long been woven into the culture, Corey developed a deep respect for the plant early on. He immigrated to the United States at 11 years old, with ambition and the determination to build a better future.
Over the next two decades, Corey immersed himself in the craft of cultivation, becoming a trusted consultant for farms and brands across the industry. He helped growers improve their practices while refining his own philosophy: exceptional flower is never rushed. It is earned through patience, precision and a commitment to excellence.
In 2019, one of the farms he consulted for became available. Believing in the vision he had spent years developing, he took a leap of faith and founded YAGA Farms.
The journey hasn’t been easy. Constant regulatory change, price compression and a flood of unregulated products have pushed many farms to close. Corey stayed committed to doing things the right way, never trading quality, integrity or compliance for short-term gains.
Today, as Founder and Head Grower, he personally oversees every stage of cultivation, from selecting genetics and tuning each grow environment to harvesting at peak maturity.
